Hi Vidhi,
ISO 9000:2005 defines procedure as Quote A specified way of carrying out an activity or a process Unquote.
any SOP, according to me should follow a following structure
1) Purpose of the SOP :
2) Scope of the SOP:
3) Responsibilities and authorities associated with the implementation of the SOP
4) The content of SOP
The content should list the activities to be carried out in sequential manner. while writing SOP one should be concise and to the point.
I am attaching herewith ISO 10013 a guideline for preparing system documentation. Hope this information would be helpful to you to some extent.
Best wishes,

Mr. Vishwas,
Thanks for the reply. I have been through the attachment you sent. But I am looking for something very specific i.e a company's SOP of the HR Department.
Could you help me with that?
Thank you

Vidhi, Unfortunately I am against being a copy cat. You apply your mind and create your own procedures. Best wishes Vishwas H Watwe

Dear Vidhi,
What I would like you to do is apply your mind and try to write the SOPs yourself. You know the functions of HRD ? don't you? I would certainly help you in your efforts of writing the SOPs yourself
