Thank you very much for the reply, i would like to inform you that i am a female and would be really thankful to you if you can help me out that how my salary slip will look alike , i m not getting my pf deducted because it was my wish , so need a help that what ever salary slip i am getting is right or not , i would like to know in details if you can help me out it would be great favour from your side , i want to know the salary with all the percentage and all how is contribution of each and every slab.

plz help me......... i want to know whether PF is compulsory deducted when we will be in probhition period or not and abt TDS . will tds deduction from gross or net salary is around 1.6lakh per annum

If you are calculating Profession Tax for Maharashtra than your calculation is wrong
It is as follows:-
PT Slab for Maharashtra.
1) 5001 to 10000 ----- 175
2) 10001 and above ---- 200
and for the month of Feb it is 300 so that calculation comes to 2500/- per year
No PT for salary below 5000/-

of course TDS will be deduccted on the gross salary if it is beyond the excemption limit..

Hi, Ravi, the TDS will calculated ob gross salary, but the employer will breakup as such i.e. basic/hra/t-allowance/medical travel allowance Rs. 800/- will get exempt from tds, also please note that t reduce the tax you can produce the rent what you paid to land lord that also get exempt. a formula will apply for the same.

I want to know all the figures of my salary slip my gross salary is 17 k , i want know what vll be the figure of my Basic salary, HRA,Transport Allowance,Bonus if applicable,. CCA , and the Deduction like ,Professional tax,my pf is not getting deducted and tds is also not getting deducted , and also want to know how to calculate all this things when i m having 17 k gross, because i dont know anything about the salary slip , whenever i m asking to my Acounts department the answer what they are telling to me i am not satisfied with that, so kindly help me out and also would like to tell that among 17 k my incentives is 2000 per month
