Dear all,
I am drafting a leave policy for my company. As per Punjab S&E Act, 1 EL is added every 20 working days ie. 18 EL in total. In addition, 7 CL and 7 SL should also be given. That totals up to 32 leaves. However, can I go below this prescribed number? eg. can give just 12 EL? If yes, is there any provision in any law? Please help.

Plz go through section 14 of The Punjab Shops & Commercial Establishment Act, 1958 for your query. We are not allowed to lowered down the no. of leaves. We do not find any provision under this Act which allows us to do such act. These are the bare minimum leaves.
