Dear Alok ,
please use following points to prepare your MIS report
1) Let say your company having 10 no of projects then for each project generate separate MIS report keeping same standard format.
2) Update report on monthly basis and keep updating date after monthly billing date
3) your report will consist of your JCA and actual cost comparison for preliminaries, labor cost, unfixed material,installations,testing & commissioning, maintenance,overheads also you can include bank charges,advance payment recovery of advance,bank guarantee in this part
every month from this data you will get information about what was your planed budget until this month and how much actual you spend until on this project.presentation of this data with plan and actual progress will helps your seniors to forecast your project cost and profit.

I am suppose to prepare a reporting system (Daily, weekly and monthly) to be prepared by Logistic executives (Shipping, Transport and Maintainence) and submitted to Logistic Managers and these managers to MD. Its for a Big size trading firm based in Dubai.

Dear Mr. Alok,
First you tell me where are you working (Head Office,Regional Office or site Office), if you are working at Head Office then you can prepare MIS Report as per the requirement i.e. New Joining, Left, Leave, Transfer from one sites to another sites, Proposed Investment Plan submitted details, PAN No. details, Salary Advance Details, Manpower abstract, Statutory Compliance details, Paid-Unpaid Salary Details, Vehicle Details and Material Issued and Received Details, salary Budgeting etc.
if you are working at site or regional office Please contact to your Corporate HR Team because you will prepare MIS Report in Different format and they will ask you to provide them all details in different format, so this will be hard and time killing for yourself.
