"Industrial Relation & Labour Law" would be little tougher than the second one but it would so useful in all means.. :)

well i think Industrial relation and labour laws is a much more wider subject and it also includes collective bargaining and wage policy etc.so it will be good for u to learn IR as a whole....apart from collective bargaining and wage policy u will also get an idea about other things like strikes, various bipartite and tripartite bodies, dispute handling, conflict resolution, grievance machinery, etc etc....
so i were in ur place I wud hav chosen IR and labor laws...
tak cr!!

Dear friend,
In my opinion both are important but if you have to choose one I would suggest, you should go for IR and Labour Laws because of two reasons first its knowledge is a must for HR Professional second a little knowledge about CB you will get in IR. As far as the knowledge of wage policy is concerned you can have your own after going through related books.

Hi, go for labour law you so that you can understand all topics; collective bargaining and IR. but wages policy is different than IR. it doesnt comw under Labour law. LL will give you outlook of company section and rules applicable with Company act's.

Dear Setha,
you have choosen 2 hr related subject. Wage & collective bargaining is having theoratical application only in today's world. Better to take industrial law.

Again "industrial relation and labour law" is little tough than the other one... However this would be of great help to the standards in your career...
