Hello Everyone,
I have recently joined a company its a small firm with minimum of 50 employees in the Headoffice excluding the branches. They donot have any new and updated HR Activities implemented in the organisation though the role of HR here is very strong with relation to Payrolls and performance appraisal.
I would like to suggest the Management some new add ons that HR can do within their policy as well developing the HR here.
Awaiting a reply

I agree with the views, i want to implement small changes like i cannot have an implementattion of JD's & JS cos the heads provide and give work to their employees at their own discretion. Cannot implement competency mapping cos its small firm.
So i need suggestions like these which can be researched further & implemented.

Hi Namita
I gave suggestions keeping in mind small companies, ask yourself questions what is not upto mark in your department/company. Like Pesonnel Files & Records, Leave Maintenance, Salary & OT Records, ID Cards, etc.. and start working on it and give a suggestion to management.
Hope you understood

Hi Namita,
If you can take trainning sessions based on behavioral competencies which will help everyone grow professionally and personally, then it would be great.
You can take fun activities/ arrange trips/ basically, some recreational activities.
It will definitely make organisation environment much better.
I hope my suggestions are helpful to you.

yes ...I think you can keep one function one day in which you keep some games initially that will create an atompshere and then show some motivational movie on projector like The Secret ot some other such movies which will be inspirational for them . I have put up my thoughts ...more you can think of some innovation to motivate people to make tham talk increase there confidence level ..etc.

Hi Namita,
At the initial stage, you can suggest to introduce Recruitment fact-sheets, formal induction process, training & development activities, regular employee communication process through mails & newsletters, recreational activities, hr budgeting, leave maintenance etc.
You can also conduct an employee satisfaction /feed-back survey before-hand so as to gain an insight into what they actually want from an hr so that resistance to new practices is low and both the employees & management welcome the move whole-heartedly !
