I hav completed my mba HR in july 09,im totally confused as to which is the right job to start off my carrer in HR. I was working for a consultancy as a recruiter, not very much satisfied with the job. Then i have joined as training coordinator in a small manufacturing company. I'm not sure if im in the right job. kindly give me ur suggestions as to how a fresher should go abt in choosing the right job during the initial stages of their carrer.

I agree with Ms.Sarita. You should look for an opening with any small or big industry where you will have exposure to entire HR gamut. Doesn't matter if you need to prepare, maintain all the activities on your own. it would be a great learning for you. Just to share with you, when i started my career i used to handle time office, fill in all statutory challans, prepare various MIS as asked etc which helped me in long term to strengthen my understanding.

ya i agree with ours freinds point, you can learn so many things from small company take some initiative and then training is also a part of hr activity so dont worry about this at the same time you can do some other hr related activity of your own. If there is no hr related responsibility then you have to create and work.
