A very gud piece of information Raghav. In my previous company, full, part and quarter time employees were categorized into three groups.

Full time 3 (3 basic salaries), 6 (4 basic salaries), 9 (6 basic salaries), 12 (8 basic salaries)

Part time 5 (Same as above), 9 (Same as above) 14 (Same as above),18(Same as above)

Quarter time 7(Same as above),11(Same as above),16(Same as above),20(Same as )

After above mentioned specified period for each category for example, after completion of 3 yrs, employee would be evaluated on two factors Attitude and Performance and then the combine percentage of both would be taken. For example if he scored 50 % for Attitude and 70 % for performance then the average of the two would be taken which gives 60 % and then 60 % of the basic salary amount would be given to the employee along with a certificate or a shield if he was awarded the second time during his stay in the organization for example after 6 years. The same category was followed for part n quarter time employees. The scores were evaluted by the top management after having an input from the Team Leader.

There were on the spot awards like chocolates or small amount of cash prize. There was once an offering for the lease of car for the out performer employee since he was the oldest and customers kept admiring his efforts always.

There was once a polling session and employees had to write one name against the follwing five attributes. Attitude, Leadership, Teamwork, Commitment and Performance and a typed slip was circulated through HR. Employees had to write a name against each attribute and the polling closed at the end of the day. Employee names with highest scores were given certificates and awards like Best Leader or a Top Performer etc.I hope it will serve the purpose you have asked for.
