Dear Sir,
My company comes under shops & Establishment act, I have a clarification, we have around 60 staff (Qualified) & around 40 staff are Like Daily Wages & Trainees is PF & ESI are eligible to even tempory staff like daily wages & Trainees are company is lible to pay for only 60 staff. can you please clear me this out.

Dear Kartik, As per PF & ESI Act you have to pay PF & ESI contribution for all. Please go through the definitions of the said Acts. - Sagar.

dear
PF and ESI act is applicable to daily wager,temporary worker also.however if trainees are hired through apprentice act or through the provision of certified standing orders than ESI&PF is not to be paid against trainees.
