Dear All,
As per govt minimum wages circular, wages to be calculated on the basis of 26 day.
Days in a month:
Jan - 31 days
Feb - 28 days
April - 30 days
Query :
1. Is contract labour daily wager OR monthly?
2. In above mentioned month working days are 27, 24, and 26 respectively, so you requested to let us know how to split the wages in above cases of contract labour.
Regards,
Rahul Rathore

Dear Rahul, To calculate per days wages= Basic + D.A / 26 days, In a month working comes 27 days, have to multiple 27 X per days which calculated as per minimum wages. Regards A.Selvaraju

Yes. I agree with Mr. Selvaraju. C.L. Minimum Wage is calculated on 26 days. It means it is included the W.Offs. The same was mentioned in the C.L. Government Order.
If the minimum calculation is on 26 days, you can take calculate the wages as per actual worked days only.
