What I like about Genpact:
"It makes you look for options and does not give up on you. It strongly believes in Training for future leaders. Strong hold on values and believes in integrity."
What I don't like about Genpact:
"Its becoming a Politics playing field with near and dear ones of the boss making a breakthrough. It comes clear from the recognition. Leaders resort to Lot of unethical ways to save Attrition to the extent of recognizing people who are planning to leave."

Hi Anjali,
Thanks for your views. I agree with you that now a days politics has become an integral part of the corporate culture, only the extent varies.
My purpose behind this company review is to take true feedback of the work environment from employees and not what company is claiming. So that the real picture can be unfolded.
Keep sharing your views.:icon4::icon4:

HI Sanjay,
Its been a while I left Genpact earlier known as GECIS(GE Capital International Services) . I have seen this company from GE to Genpact. Politics is a part of every organization good or bad. You got to understand that we Indians play a lot of politics and unfortunately there are people who are taking advantage of this.
Having said that the culture that Genpact has is legacy GE culture and believe me that helps people to grow where ever they go. Earlier GE had a hand on Genpact but thats not the case any longer. So when you have to run a 30000 strong and growing BPO a little politics creeps in because its the people that make the company.
By the way working in Genpact and closely observing it are 2 different things!
Just a thought:)

Hi Sukumar,
Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts. I completely agree with your views. We generally put our 'false ego' in front of us whether professional or personal front. And that encourges us to do unethical things most of the time, since we need to satisfy that 'false ego'.
We should clearly understand the reality of situations and respond to them with our conscience by putting 'false ego' aside.
And by the way Sukumar, these are the reviews given by the employees of Genpact.
keep your feedback coming.:p:p:p

Here are detailed version of the story as on date:
1) Most AVP and above are old GECIS employee from BPO background and they lack IT Attitude in there thought process.
2) All duties to be done by \'company\' like maintaining Infrastructure/Logistic/Internal documentation are thrown over to employee head..example? Like Printers Papers,Toilet Papers, Your increments/appraisal/reimbursement/dues/travels/medical etc all are employee responsibilities and if you miss to track anything then its gone... believe me its true...Latest example...You have to raise ticket to get your yearly increment and if you miss then you will have 0% increment........
