Hi,
Can anyone please advice and help me. Looking forward to your help. :
I had left employment almost 10 yrs back for self employment.
I want to withdraw my pf, which has been deposited with PF office in Delhi, Wazirpur. I live in Kolkata.
I got the necessary form 19 and 10c attested by my old company(employer). They told me that their work is done, and that I should submit the form to pf office in wazirpur.
I dont have a SSN, do I need to get one done first, and if yes then how? As I dont work for any organization now, and I dont think my previous employer will sign the form.
Is there anyway to just submit form 19 and 10C without SSN.
Also can I submit the form in Kolkata PF office or do I need to send it by registered post to PF office in Wazirpur, New Delhi where my pf has been deposited
I'm very confused as to what to do. I would appreciate help as soon as possible. Thank you!
Warmest regards, and best wishes.

SSN is not mandatory for withdrawal cases. Even for the current members the work about allotting Security Number is not being done properly. Therefore, you can send the forms direct to the Delhi Office for settlement.

Dear Akash,
SSN is not mandatory for PF withdrawal. You need to get form 19 & Form 10C duly signed by the authorised signatory(Employer). After that you can send the forms direct to the Delhi Office for settlement. After submission it will take around 3 months in process.
Thanks & Regards,
Virender Singh.
