i came across the word 540 degree appraisal some days back , as for as i know tho advance tool for appraisal is 360 degree . i dnt know abt this one.. can any one throw inputs in this tool.. i want to know whether such a tool is there . wat r all tools wich is more effective other than 360 degree.

i dont know if any one else have given any opinion on this issue. there is this new system of performance appraisal feedback system- 540 degree. it is very much the same as 360, however it goes a step ahead to include customers feedback and suppliers feedback. this system also considers the difference between internal and external customers.
kindly let me know if there is more to this.

Even i was trying to find about 720 degrees appraisal last year and drew blank!.. :D
Two weeks ago, i attended the workshop by TVRLS and had the privelege to interact with Dr T V Rao and in the forum i had asked this question about 720 degrees - he said it is just a fad and 360 degrees is good enough tool as of today.
