dear shallini,
not exactly the same but little bit similar case heppend to my friend. My friend is a fresher & its her first job. An organisation in which she is working, her superior who is an HR Manager drunk once during lunch time & after coming, he was speaking rubbish & singing song at my frnd. the nxt his superior was absent so she made a complain to GM. GM is very nice person. but he couldnt support her, just say he wil talk with HR manager about that mater. Bcoz here GM is facing one problem , HR Manager is very knowlegable & experienced so replacment of that person is not beneficial for company.

Dear Sonu,
What, HR Manager himself had drunk and came to office?? Definitely your company has to be an excellent place to work. Thatz why I asked you in my reply, was it a male employee or manager himself. When HR manager is unable to be a role model, there are no words to comment on his conduct. What to do with his knowledge and experience? That GM who couldn't voice out would have bought him (HR manager) a drink. So an inseparable boozing pair, GM and Manager-HR.
God, save the employees.

shalini, silently bearing with ruthless and indecent behaviour is an encouragement to the bully in your office. All of you need to unite against such a person and take the matter to higher authorities and see that justice is done.

Basically this kind of crime does not keep evidence/clues and hard to proof.Be strict to that guy and give him a warning leter, so that such things can’t be repeated to anyone.

Hi,
Lot of factors to be considered.
His age, situation in which he acts like and son on.
Pls.just jump into conculsion that the person is arrogant.
I come across some people who while teachig or helping the fellow people and
when his points doen'T reach them, may knock (of course with light weight).

I think first of all you should know what your service agreement/condition of service say about fight or beating someone up, in my organisation we have set of rules and actions that will be taken if any events that such situation comes up. first give him a letter of warning if the matter is reported officially by the victim.Even if the victim does not report the case you could still go ahead to initiate action as a deterrent to other that the work place is no place for beating up people. In other words a strong letter of warning after all necessary inquiries are made.
