MBA from Symbiosis(Distance Learning Mode) is of 2 years and they award you the PGDBA not MBA. The course fee and structure can be checked from their website www.scdl.net and further help for doing course from there can be get from SCDL Solved Assignments and Sample Papers

I think MBA HR is also offered by IGNOU , which is equally recognised and reputed and it will be Degree beacuse institutes would give you only PGDBM not MBA Degree. Regards P.K.Mishra 9412451914

Try for Sikkim Manipal University for MBA - DE. It is UGC Approv University and they update their material every year. This university has good value for job search.

Hi,
Symbiosis PGDBA course is better but since u have a good exp. so i preferred u to go for Executive MBA i.e one year course and it will help u get better opportunity as compared to simple PGDBA course.

Its completely depends if you are really serious in doing MBA means u can go for Symbosis or Anna univ Chennai but this two university is not as easy u think since im doing MBA in Anna univ Distance education i can tell u few things here attendance is compulsory, assigments and test are also is there and more than its similar to school life and if you are planning to MBA for getting a degree means u can do it in ICFAI they will give you MBA Degree even if you didn't write the exams also

You may also try Madhurai Kamraj University. They have a study center in different parts where they conduct classes on Sundays. They also issue MBA Certification after completion of course.

Hi
Before suggesting u any courses i would like to know whether u r a post graduate or undergraduate? If u ve completed ur postgraduation u can go for Diplomas which would be very helpful rather doing masters in HR. Pondicherry and LIBA has a twinning programme of diplomas for all electives u can go for that. u can go for pondicherry university cite and check for twinnning programme u can find ur answer.

Hi , the same query but with one observation. As I am also interested in pursuing the MBA course (distance learning) and i queried with IMT people and they're offering 1 yr course in HR costing 20000 which you can extend also if you like the overall structure. But out of hundred responses on htis thread , hardly one or two talked about IMT, why?? as i was totally convinced with them and about to enroll myself with their 1 yr progra. And there are n number of replies on Symbi the most talked baout university.
Please suggest.
Thanks

The Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Administration offers 3 years evening programme for MBA degree of Calcutta University. The programme is for working persons. The entry is through MAT score followed by GD and PI. This is at par with 2 year MBA day programme (same examination conducted by Calcutta University). You can do this programme provided you are in Kolkata.
Incidently admissions for this year are completed. You may appear in MAT Septr exam and apply for course starting in 2009.
