ATTENTION RAVI782: NO! Notification of applicability is not issued year and not expected before December 2016. If notification issued in November 2016, it may effect from December 2016, but in any case it is not issued in December 2016, it might have been effected from April 2017.(see my earlier thread dated 10 October for reason)

Dear All, I read the quoted Press release which mentioned that increased wage limit approved by ESIC. But such press release didnt mention anywhere that from which date such new limit would get implement. No notification issued by ESIC in this regard as per my knowledge yet. So in this situation it should be conclude that such limit has been approved by ESIC board but till date it is not decide the implementation date of such wage limit.
Corrections welcome, if any.

In my opinion notification has still not issued and now it would be possible effective from April 2017, because of the reason that required 92 days may not be completed from Jan to Mar. 17 even some one works for full month in all the three month. New entrants from Jan. 2017 would not be entitled for Sickness benefit in the forth coming benefit period starts from 1st July 2017 following contribution period from Oct. 2016 to Mar. 2017.
