Dear all,
I am very much surprised after getting all the views. What i have learnt from this corporate industry it is all about your caliber and talent. If now these days most of the females are coming in the HR sector then the reason behind this is that they are soft and diplomatic by nature and they can adjust the thing as per the requirement of the management.
There is no X factor. This is only the part that how are you dealing with the policies and managment and the flexibility of the nature.
But as per my knowledge still there are more male working in HR rather then females.

I Really dont agree to the statement above that only females are given prefrence in this industry ... my all senior authorites are male staff in HR .. we hardly have any female staff in HR .
Also many organisations send the job vaccancies prefreablly for male candidates nowadays ......
Time has changed ..... Pl move on ... !
That was the thing of past to think in such manner that females are more suitable for the job !!!

Yes, earlier it was true because of their kind and generous nature. HR is completely relation's maintaining job.
But now a days the scenario is changed. So many good companies are having Man HR professionals. it depends, how u deal the matter.
Good Luck to All

Good to note the experiences where this is balanced out. Thanks friends for sharing the same. Thanks to many who even went on to admit that it existed. We have to kill hypocrisy when possible.
True, there are situations where it still exists, but lets 'ignore' them for the greater good and learn to move on.

Dear Yasmin,
I like your attitude and positive thought . There is no place now a days which is dominated by any one ,yes there is some specific domain or we can say the profile in which there is female and male has dominated like in recrruitment in service industry girls are preffred and in Payroll and compliances males are preffared due the jobs requiremnt otherwise the ways and places opens for all.
i just want to say"winners are not those who never fail in their life but are those who never quit."

Hi All,
Yes of course i too agree, In most of the companies male HR candidates were not recognized whereas Female candidate has got selected within a few rounds of Interview or by Direct Interview. I had a lot of worst experience in this , this should get changed and every body should get equal rights especially guys in HR Domain.
Thanks

Hi
One can say that female is more preferable in HR sector..... but I think it is depend on the type of industry ... where female can get preference rather than Male & same things are applicable for male too.
We can not say that only female are dominant in the HR, personally I have seen that Male are playing key role in HR.

Dear Mr. AMit,
Thanks for the appreciation, I beleive if someone is in wrong state then we should try our best to bring him out from delima and make him / her comfortable in the global environment.
Now a days females take up recruitment job from home / working as freelancers, which is convinient and comfortable.
And obviously a job is given to a candidate based on their knowledge, experience, competencies, communicatioin, capability etc.
What if women or female goes for interview lacking the above qualities ? would she be still preferred or a male who could have all these qualities.
A gender never works for organisation, but our knowledge, qulaifications, competences and experience do.
