As long as the basic pay is always above the minimum wage + variable DA, do I need to include a salary component named DA in the payslip, that is adjusted every year?
If a component named DA is mandatory, can I keep it high at 25%, so that periodic revision is not necessary.
NB: The basic salary itself is above the mandatory minimum wage (including DA) for the post.

So long as the total salary (excluding employer contributions to ESI, PF and Bonus) is more than the notified minimum wages, there is no need to pay DA separately.
