I think the question which raised from the case filed by Tripti is not at all about Dating allowance becuase it is very well that the policy of the companies where in the company ask the males to stay back late or in shifts usually couldbe questioned on the same grounds.
The real question is that can corporates afford to take a hands off policy from the legal system. NO doubt Azim premji is now saved to quite a lot of extent due to the NGOs. but then still avnish bajaj CEO of Ebay is still grinding in the legal system . He should not have been araigned.
There are others lilke Rajan Pillay who also suffered the unfortunate fate.

Dating Allowance acts as a de-stresser by creating and reinventing ones excitmenmt zones and gives space for oneself with those they are comfortable enough to share and be themselves. It need not be ones family members alone.
Like any other actions in life it also has it's own share of negatives, but employees being mature and of legal age should decide for themselves.

You do not keep running to the media trying to paint him red and force him to make the painfull admission a man could make and expose him to ridcule

It is really sad to see level of curruption in indian judiciary and law enforcement agencies and this is the cause of so many problems in our country.
The other problem that I can see a coming major problem is the designing of law keeping ABLA naari in 21st century. I do not find women abla in 21st century. They are very capable and have lot of potential.
These are 2 reasons for matrimonial disputes and millions of cases in courts which neither give justice to men nor to women. They just waste their valuable time.

isn't it that a company does the market study before bringing a product in the market. and it takes into consideration the society , culture and belifes of the people. so the kind of service we get in india from a particular company will be different in some or the other way from the other countires n the reason is the differnce in cultre and people.
in this case also the onus is on the company to come out with benifits and scheme that'll go in sync with the culture. we may be moving towards westernisation but where family values are concerned we still would like stick to the old ones. I dino't think that innovation has died that the companies cannot come up with some better benifits.

Dating allowance or Non dating allowance is not a problem at all .
Problem is "Legal terrorism" and against that our Corporate Managers are sleeping.
As a result stupid LAW makers are making our country Judicial system as Fish Market.
It is high time to wake up and stop such "legal terrorism" and punish to such people who defame the comany's "Work Culture".

Whatever name we give.The unscrupulous people will find ways to misuse any law. It is more about attitude and locus of control. It is not external factor which are responsible for any problem, one should introspect and learn from mistakes. If learning is missing... you keep changing names of the benefits...nothing will happen.
