Dear All,
Discrimination as a word is distasteful to professionals. However, it is true that most companies still have some inherent biases that have been woven into the texture of the company's culture through the beliefs that the company's Top Management demonstrate. It is high time that Professionals learn to respect Talent and Ability along with the Willingness to work and perform on the job, and not the individual's gender, appearance or Sexual Preference at work. In my humble opinion, these are not even to be discussed as these are extremely personal topics and to be handled sensitively, should they ever be brought in the open. It is only that companies should realize that performance takes precedence over prejudice.
