HAI SSAHIL,
Company is distributing ipad for use in our daily work but it is equipped with tracking system of locations, can company do this activity ? Is it authorised?
NOW DAYS IN GOOGLE EVERYTHING IS COMING IN TRACKING THE LOCATIONS, DOMINE TO THE IPAD, COMPUTER IT IS BECOME EASY TO LOCATE THE SAME. IN MNCs SO MANY PRECAUTIONS ARE TAKING TO SAFE GUARD ONES SYSTEMS AND PACKAGES.

Hi,
During working hours they may track you, depending upon your nature of work, but after working hours they are not legally authorized to tress pass your privacy. You may leave your ipad in office itself to maintain your privacy and very well you can refuse to carry at your person when you are off duty. Company may not afford loosing your services when you are off duty because in today's scenario we do lot of office stuff at our home. They may discontinue tracking system in the interest of getting employees' services while on off duty.
Let me tell you that we can be tracked when we are having our personal mobile phone also, let it be in switch off mode provided sim is not removed. Hence it is mere apprehension of yours that company is attacking your privacy but in their point of view they safeguarding their interests nothing else.
thanks

Will the appointment letter's terms and conditions of previous company would be apply in new company after acquisition of 2 years?
Can new company transfer me in other headquarters without discussion and without my willingness on the basis of previous company's signed "terms and conditions" of appointment letter? (I am working in a pharmaceutical MNC as medical representative)
-new company want us to sign new "terms and conditions" paper but they will not issue new appointment letter to us- can company do this after 2 long years of acquisition?

Hi,
New company acquired all resources from previous company including manpower hence terms and conditions of your service remained same.
Any company may transfer its resources to its other working place for better utilization including manpower. Generally companies consider the problems of employees on humanitarian grounds, otherwise they may transfer you anywhere wherever they have facilities. Generally these conditions are added in the service terms.
New conditions are not added till there is change in your previous appointment/positions. If your positions is changed then new terms and conditions are added along with new appointment letter.
thanks
