Hi Friends,

TCS or any other firm for that matter and all other such business firms are focused on their business and they keep on hunting for best of the talents in industry for the accomplishment of their dream projects,How one (prospective employee) is going to fit into it is a biiger question,as this will solely depend on the person who is thinking of joining for such alluring projects. What i mean is that one should be sure of his own talents and achievments before thinking on new job offers, secondly priorities in life are much more important than than the growth and success.

In this world of hussle and bustle, glare and allure,I Suggest to stop, think and act concept to be adapted in such cases.

Most important is to learn, aquire knowledge and be master of ones trade and work for self satisfaction first.Learning is life long process and it never ends and knowledge can be aquired from even small firms. But the satisfaction for self is something that gives all the strength and peace of mind to a person think innovatively and prepare for new challenges.

With my views Here, I Think Jobs are not like our fathers, who feed us but they are more like worship that needs to be done with full devotion, and divinity.

Thanks

Bijay

a m not agree with Mr. Shubhabrata ideas bcaz in 15-20 days leave no employer will let u join without relieving ltr which shall be verified first and secondly without correct notice ur movement from present employer will result lost of job in case found the fact during verification. Yes, as per Mr. Simhan quotes it z possible and correct. One should go ahead to grab the opportunity if so.

Completely agree! Jobs don’t feed us for free. We put in effort for the companies to make money and that in turn comes back to us in the form of salaries and perks.

Dude when you like your current job and the employer so much , when you have the leverage for enjoying so much and the Bottom lime that you like your Job then you did you take up the interview in the first place.
Anyways opportunists with the increase of 10K do not knock your door again and again ...

From your post I get a feel that your MD's ream role is not your dream role. Do introspect on your skills and see where you can grow further. I think that choice would be ideal. I would like to share Steve Job's quote here "The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, You'll know when you find it."
So my take focus on your skills that you love ... companies will love you all the more if you are really good in what you do

HI,

Just adding one more view to yours.....

Do not know how would the recruiter react, and what kind of probe, has been done by the recruiter, if a person enjoys so much in the company, how come he even appeared for the interview....

I understand what pains we take for getting the interviews done, rolling the offer letter and the height of resentment when expected candidate does not join.....

And views coming on a professional platform, that a candidate applies for a leave and join and check and come back.....

And each employer has a different perspective and will react differently ... What happens if the employer does not react favourably.......
