Sir
THERE IS NATIONAL FESTIVAL AND OTHER HOLIDAYS ACT..
AVAILABLE IN GOOGLE SEARCH...
EVERY ESTABLISHMENT AND FACTORY...has to obey the following NATIONAL FESTIVALS ARE COMPULSORY TO ALL.
1.JANUARY 26TH....REPUBLIC DAY
2.MAY DAY..1ST....INTERNATIONAL WORKERS DAY
3.AUGUST 15TH..INDEPENDENCE DAY
4.OCTOBER 2ND.....GANDHI JAYAMTHI.
5.25TH.DECEMBER..CHRISTMAS..
They are compulsory holidays to all workers..
That means...leave with pay....
If you made worker to work on that any above holiday ... You have to pay DOUBLE WAGES OF THE DAY ...OK.
AND ANOTHER 03 FESTIVA DAYS ..HOLIDAYS as wish by the company...but it should be decided by the ZONAL LABOUR COMMISSIONER OF THE STATE GOVT.
PLS...
