Hi Shilpa,
If you have done the survey and found out that, work life balance is the major fact for people leaving your organization, then i would suggest you to introduce any of the 2 days in a month as "Lights out" day wherein everybody from the office should move out at a particular time (you can decide in consultation with your top Mgt - be it 5:00pm or 5:30 pm) and i am sure your employees would definitely like this initiative along with your Management too
In fact, if you introduce this, you are satisfying both the Management by helping them saving the Electricity whatever may be the cost and creating a work life balance for your employees.....
Hope this will help.....

Dear Shilpa,
The problem with your employees seems to be monotony combined with the work-life imbalance. Accordingly, to me the worthwhile solutions seem to be as under:
1. Make either 5 days a week or keep 2nd and 4th saturday off, as per the requirement of your organisation;
2. Organise activities like sports, picnic etc involving your employees post working hours except in case of picnic. You may also organise birthday bash for all employees born in a particular month on a specific day towards the end of the month and so on. This has to be not one time but a regular activity.
I am sure this will relieve you of the problem to a great extent.
