It is very meaningful and informative.
A few observations have to be made at this juncture.
Frogs in a frying pan with constantly raising temperatures is an obvious-controllable situation. But market trends are very unpredictable. Most of the market movements are very speculative. But frogs in the frying pan ..is absolute and definite. In a highly volatile market situations like ours, share markets drop dead even if our Finance Minister says he will resign. If one of the Ambani brothers fall ill, the share market is affected.
What I would like to share with every one is..no doubt this is a good example, but we need to see beyond this to understand the market trends. And it is not as simple as the story depicts.
Good work, sir Raj.

I unfortunately days later have read the article today. THis is undoubtedly an enormous essay I have read. Being in the management in a reputated company I feel definately this (article) represents the situation well. Each giant company waits its last breath before it goes for a change.

Dear Sudha
What you are talking about is market risk, and there is no control over the market. What the story here is being conveyed is about you your product style and services should change and also to understand immediate surrounding.
For example there is a famous case of iridium mobile, they made satellite mobiles, but that never took off in the desired fashion because there was no proper research done and no futuristic planning was involved, and as a result the phone never got popular and also it was thrown out of raise within three years with the entry of cellular phones.
Business risk are different from increase in the risk due to faulty calculative methods of risk analysis.
