ISTD Diploma is a kind of super specialisation and efforts r on to get the nomenclature changed by Min. of HRD to 'Post Graduate Diploma in training & Development'.
This course has its own standing especially in the training fraternity. secondly ISTD has linkages with International Bodies like American Society of Ttraining and Development (ASTD) and a founder member of IFTDO (international federation of training & development organisations).

thanks for the information , i was looking out for more specifics..I was told that if u have 2.5+yrs of experience then its for 18months Dist learning otherwise its a full time course..

I have just enrolled in the june batch for the ISTD. When can i expect my reading material, also how should i go about completing my course.
The information is very sketchy around various places, though i could forsee some good benefits out of the programme, hence enrolled myself.
