Hi Venkat,
After Oct 1,2006, Govt.Notification is out, the ESI Coverage has been hiked to Rs.10000/- instead of Rs.7500. So the employees whose gross salary is upto Rs.10000/- needs to pay ESIC Contribution at 1.75%.

Hi, Everything okay. but for one point i.e. ESIC deposit is not six monthly basis rather on month on month basis. it is the return only, which is done twice in a year. thanks

Mr gopal & samba are quiet true. Then we have to consider one change in ESIC laws, that when calculating 1.75% and 4.75% the round off will be to next rupee. Regards Prashant Patil
