Dear All,
You can give free tickets to any international destination for your employee and spouse or pay for his/ her stay in a resort along with his/ her family for 2-3 nights. Recently we had given free tickets to Paris to 3 of our top performers.

Hi Manjeet,
Maybe not sure about the name....but you keep a system of points. I mean if you could measure the employees performance and then give them credit points. then you could give them a handsome gift or amount, (whtever ur company is willing to give) on reaching say 50 points or 100 points. But try keep the points achievable and the duration to achive these points minimal. This way you will be able to create healthy competition.

Hey Manji,
You can also name it as "Shining Employee" or by adding employee's name along with it.
And giving a appreciation award you can get a Coffee Mug quoted with employees name along with a appreciation message or "Best employee of Month" plus giving some cash award depending upon the company's budget.

Hi Manzi,
You can set up the standards for the performance and mark the Levels as
Bronze; Silver; Gold; or Platinum. The platinum will be the top performer.
I recommend to communicate the standards to the employees for each Level.
You can also give the performer the 'Badge' for the particular level or something which anyone can easily see. Either some gift which will show the Level or you can in your company journal can mention the names as Mr. X is Platinum Performer etc.
I hope that this will be useful to you.

I think one of the best way to motivate is to even gift them with some lunch coupons for couple and also some movie tickets as well.

According to me gift vouchers or restaurants coupons can be given to the winner or a dinner can be arranged for the best performer and his family and MD (or top personnel of the org.)
You can name it as HERO of the month. This name is very appealing and understandable by every level.
