i have done my 1 yr diploma in hr from welingars.i have no work experience.
i have the foll options
1]complete my pgdba-dlp from welingkars
2]part time mba from icfai
3]sap certification
please help me decide which option is the best with best scope or even if you feel there is a much better option than this plz let me know.
would pgdba frm welingkars have more weightage than mba from icfai???
is there a sap college from where i can do my sap itself
i am very confused and need urgent help as due dates are coming close..
please HELP!!!!

Get a good job in Core HR.
Work for aleast 1 year and then do SAP HR from Siemens or any good one.
And get into SAP.
I.e., Best solution is trying to get some pratical experiance.

I agree: going for SAP certification right now would be useless.
I am a fresher in HR too, and as a matter of fact I talked to the Siemens people about the scope of SAP HR; they advised me that it is feasable only after I have a solid 2 years of hardcore HR experience behind me, and that too, in some Corporate....not some consultancy kind of a job.
Moreover, the market is flooded with various institutes giving SAP certification: but only the SAP certification from Siemens is valid and recognized in the market........and the fee is not much, just about Rs. 3 lakhs................ :)
I would suggest to patiently hunt for an opening in some Corporate as an HR Generalist.........then try to work your way up from that....and after about a couple of years, think SAP HR.

i have almost done a 30 day survey n there is an 80% preference for welingkars over icfai..reason being welingkars has a better reputation and standing than icfai ,even thou an mba degree holds more weight over a pgdba

hello sir,
i am working with a multinational company right now and willing to do a parttime MBA in HR.
However because of rotating shifts it seems quite difficult for me to be able to make to the regular lectures, which obviously i wont like to miss.
now i am looking at some distance learning option.
could you please tell me would that be a good option.
does is actually stand in competetion to a parttime course and do industries actually give value to degree from distance institutes.

i have done a 3 year diploma in mechanical engineering with almost 3 years of work experience in the BPO industry including Accenture(1 1/2 years)
Welingkars is offering me a 2 year PGDBA considering me as an undergraduate with 3 years of work exp(on the lines of a graduate)... would this course have its value for me or should i look for other options like spending the same timeframe doing a graduation course????
