Is PL or EL mandatory for a company? Can you please help me with the details?

Both EL (Earned leave) and PL (Privileged Leave) mean the same and granting of leave to employees is mandatory for any organisation. The number of leaves to which an employee is entitled may change depending upon the nature of the industry, ie, factory, mine, plantation or commercial establishments.
