Dear Sonali Mahakul,

Many times it is intimated by senior member, the poster should provide realistic and detailed description of the matter/query. So that senior can suggest the most relevant solution.

On basis of limited information seniors give different opinions on basis of their different understanding, which sometime lead to unnecessary debate. Moreover poster should clear in which capacity he/she is asking for the solution.

Which type of vendor you are asking about Manpower (Technical, Housekeeping, Security, Horticulture etc), material supplier, comprehensive contracts?

In your previous post Mr Dinesh (Super Moderator) also requested you to give proper information.

There are different checks for above different type vendors. Second important point is what are your commercial terms (regarding compliance) with the vendor?.

In my practical experience, I observe many organisations award contract on basis of L1 pattern only and don’t check whether statutory components have been properly considered or not. In such cases the vendor can’t make full compliance.

If the above related to manpower engagement you can check below points:-

1. Proper manpower deployed as per commercial terms (Check type and no. of personnel).
2. Attendance marked and counted properly in the Wages (Check daily register and monthly total).
3. Minimum Wages and its arrears paid timely (Check Wages sheet and Bank pymt proofs).
4. PF, ESI, LWF deposited and Returns submitted. (Check Contributions in ECR should be matched with Wages sheet).
5. Bonus payment (Check Bonus pymt proofs).
6. Compliance of S&E Rules of the State (Check Leave Register/s and Holidays).
7. Gratuity, EL etc. (Check in case of Left employees these must be paid as per the entitlements).
8. Maternity Benefits paid to female employees or get coverage (benefits) through ESI.
