Hi,
I believe you do not require any software for maintaining attendance details of only 30 employees. However, if it increases to 100 plus employees then you can surely consider an attendance software.
You can create attendance register to mark daily attendance of 30 employees for physical records. Along with that, you can create an excel for auditing monthly attendance records which you can update on weekly basis by mail confirmation from reporting managers regarding their team attendance.
Thanks and Regards,

Hi,
First you create Master data sheet, Which include all employees data's like Aadhar Name, DOB, Address, Gender, Phone Number every date in one sheet. Create One Attendance sheet XL copy for Making things easier and also salary sheet in Excel format.
Then if you have more than 20 employees you have to take license it depends your industry. As per industry you have to maintain records like Musterroll, Wage report, Leave register, Accident report file, etc,..

Hi Swathi, you are the only SPOC? Wasn't there any senior HR/Admin handling policy matters before you joined?
You should discuss with the director regarding leave policy, office etiquette, behavior expected from all employees, appraisal system to be implemented as per employee grade, notice period policy as per employee grade level, exit process system, etc.
You need to plan employee engagement activities to keep employees motivated like games/trips/feedback session/dance or yoga sessions.
All the very best to you.
