It has come to the notice of the undersigned that you have remained unauthorised absent on dt. _________,______ from your place of posting without any intimation to your concerned authority. Besides, you have submitted the false rerepresentation on your such unauthorised leave. The said act of yours proves callousness and amounts to gross misconduct as per the provisions of the certified Standing Orders of the undertaking.
You are, therefore, directed to submit your explanation that why appropriate disciplinary action as deemed fit will not be initiated against you as per the provision!
Your reply should reach to the undersigned within 48 hours from receipt of this letter.
