Dear Team, If Employee Basic salary is Rs 15000/- & Other benefits are Rs 10000/- (HRA & ALLOWANCES ) - IS IT ESI APPLICABLE ? Please confirm.

The gross salary works out to Rs.25,000 (is’t take home or CTC?) which is more than the cutoff stipulated @ Rs.21,000/- at present under ESIC. Hence not to be covered.
