Employer's Contribution Towards Employee's PF Account

Hi all,
I wish to know about the percentage of share contributed towards an employee's PF account by an Employer. From my salary it is 12% of Basic is debited towards PF a/c.

It 12% of your basic by the employer plus administration charges extra on employer......... for more details use the search option on this Cite you get all the info in detail......

both employee and employer have to contribute equally for an employee PF.. also administrative charges 0.5% will also included ... if u get more than Rs.6500 as basic pay they ll not deduct PF amount .. if u wish u can contribute but it ll not exceeds 780.
