My dear Friends,
All employees whose salary was above and equal to Rs. 10000 but below and Equal to Rs. 15000.00 has again come under ESI from May'2010.
In our Company those who are not under ESI will get 6 days sick leave in a calander year. So, as per our company policy on 1st of March, May, July, Sept, Nov and January 1 sick leave is credited in leave register for the employees who are not under ESI. Some employees who were previouly not under ESI were credited sick leave for January and February on 1st March, 2010 and for March and April on 01st May, 2010. They have so for not availed these sick leaves. From May month they have again come under ESI because there salary is below 15000.00
Now my question is whether thay are eligible to avail those unutilised sick leaves.
Regards

Dear Ashok,
Yes they entitled for those leaves. Since the applicability starts from May 2010 & before that company provided the faclity of SL.
On your company policy whether SL will lapse if not availed ? or standing order term pl see.
then you can deside it.
regards,
Shashi
