I had filled up 1 year bond with a company which was located at a distant place. I left it in 4 months due to my bad health because of the environment there.
I knew that i was supposed to pay up some amount of money to be relived from there which i have no problem with.
Now the thing is ,,its already been 3 weeks after my resignation and those people are unnecessary delaying the process ( saying 8 more weeks are required) which was never a part of the Bond's clause.
As a result i am unable to apply anywhere else because i don t have relieving letter from them . Kindly Suggest.

Hi Shrutiza
If you are ready to pay the amount against bond and have intimated to the concerned senior person in that company in writing then the company is required to clear your account.
Alongwith, you just speak to the senior person for the same and speak to him that you are ready to pay the bond amount.

Its difficult to advise...just sitting online as we don't know what actually has been written in the bond.
If you are willing to pay the amount or even if you have already paid the amound as mentioned in the bond...even then it takes 30-45 days to get the relieving letter. Just speak to your reporting Manager and I am sure that the issue will be resolved.

Did you put your reason for resignation in the letter. If you did not then it is advisable that you discuss the matter with a senior memeber of the firm as the other folks have advised so that an acceptance letter is offered you to enable you apply for a new job.
Do not forget that your resignation has created a vacuum the company has to deal with hence , probably, the delay. was then the reason for the delay in replying to you letter.

Dear Shruti,
Why do you want to return bond money because you are guilty or not able to cope up.
I think you should not return the money beasue that is not your fault. Just find out the reasons why did you leave beause of your health issue. Your health didn't allow you to work in such an environment because they have not given you proper atmosphere/environment/time etc, there could be no. of reasons.
Therefore don't be sentimental and take a decision based on the your experience.
Thanks,
John
