My question is following:
We are receiving Medical allowance of Rs. 15,000/- and it is totall exempted if the bills are produced. My Question is :
a) Is it is compulsory to submit the Medical bills ?
b) Can the puchase of Health cerelac are also covered under the Medical Exp.
c) Can a membership fee for any Health Centre or Gymnasium club will be treated as Medical expense.
Thanks

Hi Pradeep
yes you must be submit all the bills which you have it is only the medical bill not the cosmetic or general health bill.
so as per IT Act membership fee of any heath Center or Gym will not be teated as medical exps.
also you query regarding the person covered under health insurance, can also produced the bill which is not covered because normal deases not cover in health insurance.
Thanks & Regards
