hi bharati,
you can do the following:
- list ur achievements at work from arp'07 till date.
- list any major work or jobs u had handled till date.
- highlight ur positive points and know how they wud help them in ur career
- list the different obstacles u faced n how u did or want to tackle them in future
- the different kinds of trainings/workshops/courses u r planning to do in the future
- the kinda support u expect from ur mgmt in ur work.
- if u have any ideas for new polices or new initiatives
basically, be prepared to tell them wat u did best so far and wat u intend to do even better hereafter and how.
all the best!!!
do let us know how did it go
regards,
deepthi

Hi Pratibha,
The listing that deepthi has given is really good.
Apart from it you should also add the following -
- Be very much clear of what kind of appraisal you are expecting and your reasons in support of that.
- You may add your long term goals, what kind of responsibilities you want to handle moving 1-3 years ahead.
- Be prepared to show your concern in a right manner if the appraisal doesn't match your expectation.
- Your expectations should be based on facts that you can defend.
- Ask the manager your areas of improvement and any concerns.
- Show your concern for the delay in appraisal meeting. Ask for appraisal arrears from April 2007.
