My company delayed my Onboarding for 6 months due to market condition.According to my initial offer letter my joining was supposed to be on August 2022 .Later, they revoked and issued a revised one with joining date of March 2023 .Will the company give compensation for my 6 months of period ? Or Will they give experience certificate including those 6 months ?

Hi,

Prior to joining Employer reserves the right to delay the joining date and you can't expect compensation or experienced certificate including delayed period, You were under no compulsion to wait for 6 months till Mar,2023. Upon your own call you had waited. So when there is a delay if the time frame is abnormal better proceed with other offer instead of waiting with hope.

Is there any difference in priority with a guy with 6 month experience and a guy with 1 yr experience while applying for a job ?

Hi, It depends on the Company’s requirement. experience range required for the level. In general candidate with 1 year experience will be preferred compared to 6 months experience.
