Hi, I have resigned my Company A on 16th Feb 2022 and was serving 3 months notice period, where as in the meantime company B where I got a job asked me to join ASAP and I joined there on March 16th 2022. The company B is a contract job .So will there be a problem in future job prospects. Kindly advice.

Dear AB87, There’s no problem. Your previous employer will be mark your last working day.

Please ensure that your previous employer has marked your exit and the date of exist is not a date later than the date of your joining the current establishment. If there is overlaping, you may not be able to transfer the funds from the previous company to the current company. If the previous employer has not marked exit, then you can initiate it through the member portal now.

Hi,

Company B being contract job ( consolidated pay ?) hope PF deduction is not there. In case if PF is applicable in Company B then it will be issue. The DOL of company A should be before 16.3.22.

You claim you are supposed to serve 3 months notice with Company A then how come you joined in Company B on 16.3.22? In case if you left Company A without information then it amounts to dual employment only.

In any case try to get proper relieving order from Company A and the DOL should be before 16.3.22.
