Team,
Just wanted to know, is it mandatory for an employer to exclude his employees from esi just because of the reason that there salary exceeds wage limit of 21000.
For eg: an employee's salary as on September'22 was Rs. 19000. his salary got increased to 23000 retrospectively from April'22. As an employer, Can we reinstate him under ESI or is it mandatory to exclude him from ESI ? if both employee & employer decides to continue with ESI what is the procedure. Any joint consent letter is required.?
Your reply will be highly appreciated.
Thanks & Regards
