Whether a Mediclaim insurance policy is already in vogue or planning for new.. you have not mentioned. If you are planning to cover newly then first of all please arrive at the coverage limit subject to your office Management approval.
One Lakh or two Lakhs or 3 Lakhs. More the coverage value more premium employer to make.
Next decide whether employee alone to be covered or family to be covered under floater option.
If family fix criteria like for unmarried employees Father and Mother can be added and for married employees spouse and two children limit.
Then decide whether to cover all including trainees or only regular employees.
Once you finalize above you can present all above in the Medi claim insurance policy.
You can present to employees that Mediclaim is not a statutory benefit but a welfare measure provided by the Company.
