Hi all, I have entered an Employment bond with my current employer, which says I will be employable with the company for a minimum of 3 months and I will finish that 3 months in 4 days and now when I resign HR says I cannot resign as you are beaching the bond.

Note: I also have to serve 2 month notice period Upon resignation so in total I will serve 5 months. But HR still says you cannot resign before 3 months.

Pls help

First of all, the notice period and bond period runs concurrently it is not one after the other. The general principle is that the bond period starts from the date of its commencement and it is not from the date of resignation. At any rate the bond period is getting over in the next 4 days, then all you are left with is only the notice period of two months and nothing more. For any other interpretation we will have to see the bond agreement you have executed/the company guidelines in this regard.
