There are certain issues with regard to the EPFO Unified Portal, it is not at all use friendly. But you will have to keep trying. Experience shows that better chances of log in exist at odd hours in the night or during the weekly holidays The employee has an option to approach the EPFO Grievance Cell and they will follow up with you for resolving the matter. Then it will become serious.
