Hi, I have left from the company immediately after getting a new job. What i have did is wrong i knew. They have sent me registered post to report them but i have replied them i cant come back because i moved to a different city. I have submitted all of the company assets. This happened six months before after that i didnt receive any communications from their end. Last week i applied for PF transfer now they sent me a letter saying you have to pay certain amount otherwise they "will treat this as unprofessional behaviour and it may be highlighted in your professional credentials."
What should i do now? I really dont have the amount what they have said.

Yes, you have breached the terms of your appointment letter. It is clearly evident that the relieving organization wants to recover the pay for unserved notice period.

Practical thoughts:

1. Please comply with the exit process now. Please demand a FNF statement for the figures. Check them for accuracy and send your acknowledgment

2. You have submitted all of the company-provided assets - that is a good

3. Please pay the amount irrespective of your financial conditions - as you are still in a job. Obtain a clean releiving letter after all of the formalities

4. It is the right of the Organization to not process your PF transfers - because you have not served the notice period

What was done - is past now. Now, please leave the company on good terms. Always be professional in your conduct. Pay the money and have peace of mind - it is very important.

After you obtain your relieving letter - you may then proceed ahead for PF transfers.
