Dear All, Suppose someone have served notice period fully but in some case the work is little bit pending. Is that person liable for relieving letter. Please guide on the topic.

Thanks for your reply. The employer told my friend that he will write in the relieving letter that we have relieved her but the work is pending.
Is this correct?
