Dear Professionals, We Have More than 1000 Employees in our Group of Company in different location .
Now we started a new facility in Rudrapur Uttarakhand and we need labour RC, for applying RC they asking for standing order .
I Requested to all professional to please help me out of this, and let me know the applicability of this act.

Dear Colleague,
The Industrial Employment Standing Orders Act/Rules are applicable if you are employing/had employed 100 workmen (In some States it applies to 50 workmen, Check for your State)
Under this Act ,Model Standing Orders are given which continue to apply till you get your own certified.
It is unusual that registering authority is asking for standing orders. You may tell them you are following the Model Standing Orders if the Act is applicable and if not no standing orders.

Thanks For your input.
but it is applicable on permanent workmen or contractual employees.
In one plant we have 25 permanent Employees and 250 contractual .
please suggest me what to do.
