Hi Friends, We all know there is in an exemption of IT & ITES companies on declared election Holiday. Is NIGHT SHIFT operations can be as usual or we need to declare Holiday for them too.

There is no exemption to declare paid holiday on the day of 'election' for those units located within a constituency. However for those who are called to work on 'night shift' there need not be paid holiday on this shift, instead the shift timing should be so adjusted that the polling timing not overlapping to shift timing.
