I have just conducted a process assessment and would like ideas on how the scores can be published to show training effectiveness basis the scores achieved.

Hello Nancy,
Do you have the scores of the process assessment conducted before the training? Effectiveness is all about incremental positive change. When you have two comparable scores i.e. pre & post training, it can be published in many forms - graphs, charts, etc.
Hope I understood your query correctly.

I wasn't able to conduct a pre-assessment hence only a post has been conducted.I have captured training throughput as following, please advise if this is the right way to capture the output.
23 Opening Head Count
18 Appeared for certification
13 Total no of passed out
=(13/18)*100 = 72% would be the throughput.

Dear Nancy,
'Training Effectiveness' has a totally different meaning. Hope you will agree.
I understand from your above data that you wanted to show the 'training completion rate / certification success rate' i.e. how many attended training & appeared for the certification, and how many cleared out of the total appeared. Your final report will tell us how successfully you (& the certification partner / trainer) had 'engaged' & 'involved' the participants through out the certification process, and how many of them are converted into successfully certified participants.
After seeing your above data, your Manager would be interested in knowing why 5 participants were not able to pass the certification process!
